No. This is a free outdoor movie event as part of Movie Picnic Night's inaugural summer season. You don't need to purchase any tickets, just bring a blanket and something good to eat, sit back and enjoy the night under the stars.
No. Doors open at 6:00 p.m. and sitting space is on a first come, first serve basis. There's lots of room, but just like the movie theater, the best seats go first fast, so get there early!
There is free street parking around the park, but just make sure you read all street signs and obey any limitations as outlined by the City of Alhambra's parking policy on those signs. We do ask, however, that you be considerate of the neighbors when you leave by keeping the noise level down as you exit.
Movie Picnic Night is an outdoor picnic movie event. We start the movie when when sun sets, but before that, we encourage you to come early, find a good seat and get settled. Bring a picnic and say hello to those around you by making a few friends!
No. It is our responsibility to let you know that alcohol is prohibited in all City and State Parks.
We love pets, but we ask to leave your furry friends at home while you attend the event, to ensure everyone is able to enjoy the film.
Alhambra Park does offer a limited number of bleacher seats in front of the screen's venue. But you can also sit on the lawn and enjoy a more traditional picnic environment. Please don't forget to bring pillows, cushions and blankets for maximum comfort. And although low folding beach chairs are allowed, please don’t block the view of the person behind you. A low folding beach chair (no more than 6″ off the ground); any chair higher than that is prohibited. You can find these low-to-the-ground chairs inexpensively at neighboring hardware and retail stores, however we don't provide them. If you bring a regular-sized lawn or camping chair, you will be obstructing the view of other moviegoers and asked to please sit off to the sides in a designated chair area. Low Chair
